In 2026, we are uncovering and celebrating the untold history of the 56-member military band from Mexico, which came in to Minnesota in 1886, and performed for 41 days at the inaugural Minneapolis Industrial Exposition.
International Women's Day

In partnership with lead artist Constanza de la O Carballo, this pop-up exhibit celebrating International Women’s Day featured visual art by more than 20 artists, along with live music and poetry, as well as hands-on art activities, including coloring sheets, printmaking, and paper flowers.


Alebrijes: Keepers of The Island

The record-breaking outdoor public art exhibit featured 17 large-scale Alebrije sculptures on Raspberry Island, a breath-taking setting on the Mississippi River in Saint Paul, Minnesota.
Alebrijes Exhibition: Building the Dream World
May 10, 2025 - August 16, 2025
In partnership with the Anderson Center at Tower View, this artist process exhibit presented large-scale Alebrije sculptures, along with conceptual installations, artist sketches, process pieces, and hand-held sculptural models of the sculptures presented concurrently at “Alebrijes: Keepers of the Island”.
